Thermal transfer printers work by applying heat to a ribbon made of wax or resin-based ink. The heat applied by the thermal printhead melts that wax or resin onto the paper or label surface, creating your printed image. Below, we outline the properties of each ribbon type and which jobs they're best suited for.

Product Features

Our line of premium resin ribbons offers maximum durability for demanding industrial applications where resistance to extreme abrasion, heat and/or chemicals is required. In addition, our premium ribbons operate at lower print head energy settings, allowing you to extend print head life and reduce maintenance. We have two grades in Resin Ribbon R22 & R30.
